During your initial consultation with Desyn, we'll thoroughly explore your goals and discuss how your renovation or extension can seamlessly integrate with your current home. If design services are required, we'll address key considerations including lifestyle needs, material preferences, budget constraints, and eco-friendly options to ensure every detail aligns with your vision. We will visit your existing home to gain an understanding of the current spaces.
We offer Preliminary Works Agreements (PWA’s) that transform your initial ideas into a fully development-approved project, ready for construction—without requiring a prior commitment to a building contract.
Our PWA follows a three-stage process: Concept, Planning and Construction.
As construction begins, you'll have direct access to your assigned Project Manager, who will be your main point of contact throughout the entire building process. They will liaise with you regularly, ensuring clear communication and transparency as your home takes shape. To keep you fully informed, your Project Manager will schedule regular meetings to review the progress of your project, address any concerns, and ensure that everything aligns with your vision.
Upon completion of your property, we will conduct a comprehensive review to ensure that every detail meets both your expectations and our high standards. This final review is a critical step in confirming that we have delivered on our promises.
After this review, we will invite you to your property for a personal inspection, where we will walk you through the finished home, address any final questions, and ensure you are fully satisfied. During this meeting, we will also present you with all necessary warranties, instructions, certificates, and, of course, the keys to your new home.
Many renovations require Council approval, especially for structural changes or significant alterations. We can discuss the requirements with you for your project.
It is preferable that you do not reside in the existing dwelling whilst construction is underway.
There are always works to consider with the existing home and residing onsite can extend time frames with restricted access for trades to complete their works.
